A lovely couple from the U.K. decided to come to Iceland for their honeymoon. They chose the sweet countryside hotel, Hotel Budir in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and contacted our team hoping we were available to document their adventure! So come along with us today as we share some bits and bobs from their romantic honeymoon session in Iceland!
It’s said that the Snæfellsnes Peninsula is magical. Seriously, ask any Icelander and they’ll tell you! This area has been a very popular spot for Iceland weddings for the years. Everywhere you turn in this little boutique hotel there is a photo opportunity!
They have recently added in some traditional Norse flare too bringing them back to their roots!
The inside of Hotel Budir is just as stunning as the inside. From the velvet couches, furs, dazzling chandelier, shabby-chic lamps, telescope, and huge windows that bring the outside in, it’s all just so dreamy!
A couple who adventures together, stays together rain or shine! We always come prepared for rain during our Iceland wedding or portrait session days with super cute clear umbrellas!
The mountains in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula are so mysterious in the fog and rain!

Arnarstapi is a sweet little fishing village in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It’s often an incredible place to bird watch and explore along the rugged Icelandic coastlines.
There are also several stone “bridges” as you can walk over for awesome Iceland wedding photos! Note: These “bridges” are completely safe and wider than they look. The clients are not unsafe in anyway.

Oh la la the grand Kirkjufell Mountain which is often referred to as the crowning glory of Iceland’s Snaefellsnes Peninsula. She looks amazing in all types of light!
And somehow she comes alive when a beautiful couple is in front of her for Iceland wedding photos! Dreamy!

Although the honeymoon session in Iceland concluded for these two, there is no doubt in my mind they will keep on adventuring and being forever newlyweds!
