Phantasmagorical Wedding Photos in Iceland

Sometimes you chant the saying, “Rain rain go away, come again some other day” with all your might in Vik, Iceland and it doesn’t work.  You then look optimistically look at the weather forecast to see if there will be a break in the weather and your met with the answer of, 100% chance of rain, all day.  [For those of you that have visited Vik, you can relate and are chuckling, I’m sure!]  But if this specific day is your Iceland wedding day and you’re a very adventurous couple from Colorado, you laugh and say “Bring it on, we’re waterproof!”

BOOM, and so the story begins! Sarah and Matt met in a serendipitous moment when Matt was traveling through Sarah’s town with a mutual friend.  The love connection was not only made, but was one neither one of them were expecting or looking for at that time in their lives.  That’s how the best love stories happen, right?

They lead lives full of passion for life and adventure so it was important to them that their wedding day reflect the same and had a casual fun vibe attached to it.  Since the rain spoiled our original plan of an Iceland waterfall wedding, our plan b was put into action and ended up being the perfect plan.  Funny how that works, eh?  There was even an impromptu stop in a new cave to have an Icelandic sing-a-long with all of their guests!  Such a fun experience!  Enjoy their Iceland wedding photos below… in the words of the fabulous couple, the images are, “phantasmagorical!”
